Established in 1995, the International Section is dedicated to fostering an environment where children develop their English skills through engaging monthly themes and play-based learning. With a team of teachers from diverse backgrounds, we provide guidance tailored to children for whom English is a second language. By carefully considering each child's physical, emotional, and linguistic development, we ensure that they not only acquire language skills but also thrive in a fun and enriching school experience. Upon graduation, students are well-prepared to continue their education at either international or Japanese schools.
Children in the International Section are immersed in English for all their lessons. The curriculum is structured around monthly themes and includes subjects such as English, mathematics, physical education, crafts, and science. Starting in Pre-K, we introduce Jolly Phonics, enabling children to learn English using the same approach as native speakers. To further support each child’s English language development, we also offer individualized one-on-one instruction tailored to their specific needs.
4-5 have the option to participate in Japanese language activities twice a week as part of our afternoon elective activities. Additionally, we offer Thai language lessons 1-2 times per month, where children are introduced to basic greetings and everyday conversational Thai.
As an international kindergarten, we celebrate Japanese culture while also embracing Thai and Western traditions. We organize events that allow children to immerse themselves in a variety of cultures, including the Tanabata Festival, Loy Krathong Festival, and Halloween. Additionally, our students enjoy a range of cultural experiences through field trips, Christmas parties, the Children's Show, and sports days.
