Established in 1995, the International Section aims to create an environment where children can naturally learn English through monthly themes and play. Teachers of various nationalities guide children for whom English is a second language. By considering each child’s physical and mental development, as well as their individual English abilities, we ensure that the children can learn language while fully enjoying their school life. After graduation, children are eligible to enter either an international school or a Japanese school.
Children in the International Section receive all lessons in English. The curriculum is centered around monthly themes and consists of lessons in English, mathematics, physical activities, crafts, and science. Starting from the 2-year-old class, we incorporate Jolly Phonics, allowing children to learn English using the same method as native speakers. We also provide one-on-one instruction time to support each child’s individual English ability.
If desired, children can participate in Japanese language activities as part of the afternoon elective classes twice a week (for 4-5-year-olds). Additionally, we offer Thai language lessons 1-2 times per month, where children learn basic greetings and everyday conversational Thai.
As an overseas kindergarten, we cherish Japanese culture while also incorporating Thai and Western cultures. Events like the Tanabata Festival, Loy Krathong Festival, and Halloween are organized so that children can experience different cultures. Additionally, we offer other enjoyable cultural events like field trips, Christmas parties, performances, and sports days.
